Happy Cosplay Appreciation Day to each cosplayer out there, I love you guys and will always support you. Forget people who look down on us and say crap about us, at least we are all united and we do what we enjoy. <3
I'm glad that cosplayers finally got their own appreciation day. I'm not a cosplayer myself, but I would like to be one day. Although I did cosplay this year for the International Cosplay Day as Misa Amane and it was my very first cosplay! It was awesome but now I just don't have enough free time for that :/
I first got into cosplay when in my first year of high school. The group of people I hung out with, Seniors and Juniors, were all cosplayers and got me into it. Now I'm a Sophomore in college and have been cosplaying since 2007. My first cosplay was L, a very easy cosplay and cheap to the pocket. Now I'm making my own cosplays and have found myself to become a cosplay model <3
My first cosplay was when I was 13. ^^ I had been into all things geeky since I was itty bitty, but that year I met some new people and found out about conventions. It was all down hill from there.
Favorite cosplay story- First convention, riding down the metro to the con, I get out of the car and hear "MINI MOOOOOOOON!" A big group of Sailor Senshi were chilling in the parking lot. They didn't have a Chibiusa. It was pure joy that year hanging with those "cool older girls". ^^
